Matthew Gudernatch was born in a small town in Connecticut, went to a small
college in Massachusetts, and was fired from The Gap twice. He started writing
comedic songs and short films while in the corporate trappings of part-time craigslist work, before diving into stand up and improv comedy all over the country.
After a few years of performing, Matthew began to win awards for his short films in writing and acting, and moved to Los Angeles. While in LA, he has acted in dozens of
national commercials, network TV shows, continued to write and produce his own festival-recognized projects, and he still isn’t allowed back in The Gap.
Matthew has performed on stage with the groundlings, UCB, and in his own one-man-show on both coasts. His dad would like him to send an audition tape to Survivor, and his veterinarian labeled his cat as “obese.”
